‘The Threshold’

The frame was meant to contain the wild—to turn it into something observed, owned, and safely admired from a distance. But the panther refuses that boundary.
Emerging from the darkness of its painted world, it crosses the threshold between image and reality. The frame remains behind as a symbol of the limits imposed upon it, while the panther steps deliberately beyond them.
The Threshold is about the moment restraint gives way to instinct—the decision to leave the space you were given and enter the one you choose.
