MK Pop Charm
Michael Kors

Designed an iconic hardware logo charm that launched Michael Kors' Fall 2025 brand refresh initiative. Inspired by inflatable letter balloons and creative direction from Michael Kors himself, the Pop Charm reimagines the brand's logo hardware language with a more whimsical, contemporary aesthetic while maintaining sophisticated brand positioning. The charm has become a signature mainline product identifier, currently appearing across the Nolita bag group, footwear, fashion accessories, and jewelry collections—and continues to be featured across all subsequent seasons.
Project Challenge
The vision was ambitious: create a hardware charm that honored Michael Kors' iconic logo while introducing a playful, modern sensibility inspired by inflatable balloon aesthetics. The design needed to feel elevated and intentional—never whimsical at the expense of luxury—while meeting strict functionality requirements, cost margins, and manufacturing constraints for mainline production scale.
My Contribution
I led the complete design development and engineering for this strategic brand hardware refresh:
